It’s our third ever First Aid Group Hike…
If you’re looking to learn some new skills, explore one of the most iconic places in the Peak District, and meet a bunch of new people, come down and join us for the day!

PLEASE NOTE: This trip is ran in partnership with World Class Training, you will be awarded a CPD in Outdoor First Aid upon completion of the day.

We’re trekking around The Roaches, Hen Cloud and Ramshaw Rocks!

Elevation – 1,299ft
Estimated time – 5-6 hours

What do I need to bring?

We recommend checking the weather forecast before the trip and packing accordingly.

Essential Items

• Walking boots with good grip
• Waterproof/windproof jacket
• Warm hiking clothing (layers recommended)
• Lunch and snacks (preferably Jaffa Cakes please…)
• Rucksack suitable for hiking
• Reusable water bottle

• Spare socks
• Portable phone charger
• Suncream and sunglasses

Participants are responsible for ensuring they bring suitable clothing and equipment for hiking and changing weather conditions.

  • All hikes are unguided and you participate at your own risk.

  • HELVETII trips are social adventure experiences rather than guided expeditions, meaning there are no qualified mountain leaders present. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should ensure they are comfortable completing the planned route.
  • Participants are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing, footwear and equipment suitable for hiking and changing weather conditions.

Not included in your booking:

• Transport to and from the hike
• Parking fees (if applicable)
• Food, drinks, or snacks for the day (except for the optional HELVETII lunch)
• Personal hiking gear and suitable clothing
• Any optional cafe/pub stops
• Personal travel insurance
