It’s time to fuel up and prepare for the day ahead…
Chef’s got us covered for food, with options of bacon and egg barms (yes it’s a barm), egg and avocado on toast, or all of it combined – it’s your call!

- Saturday Evening
Chef’s cooking and we’re vibing.
Now Chef doesn’t like to release all of his menu’s until the trip, but what I can tell you is… wow!
Once we get back to the bunkhouse, it’s a bit of downtime whilst we all shower and freshen up. By that time, food’s served and we’re tucking in.
After? We’ve got games, chats, and if people are up for it, a sunset to catch!

It’s time for the final stroll of the weekend, and this ones a good’en – we’re going to be following the River Wharfe to the smaller village of Burnsall, and also take in the beautiful Linton Falls.
Depending on group consensus, we will either start the walk from the bunkhouse, or take a short drive to Grassington (we will car share).
Time: 10:00
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
Distance: 7.0 miles
Elevation: 770ft
Estimated time: 2-4 hours (depending on stops)
Yes, there will be another celebratory post hike pint back in Grassington…
- Sunday Dinner
After the walk, we will be heading back to the bunkhouse where we will be welcomed with Chef’s famous Sunday Roast (we cannot wait)!
For some, this will be a farewell and a top end to the weekend.
- Sunday Evening (OPTIONAL)
Sunday evening is properly yours.
The bunkhouse is quiet (unless we all STAY!!), the pace slows right down, and there are no plans past the Sunday roast. But we do have some ideas for you to choose from on the night:
– Chill at the bunkhouse – sofas, board games, wine, proper conversation
– Walk into Grassington for evening drinks
– Chase another sunset (you can’t have too many)
– Or, feel free to just bring a book and properly switch off
Chef will leave a bit of a light support spread out later if you’re peckish.
Whatever you fancy, the evening is yours to run at your own pace.
- Sunday – Grassington to Burnsall Circular
A slow, proper start to the Bank Holiday.
We will tuck into our final HELVETII breakfast of the weekend, before loading up the cars and hitting the road.
No doubt we will end up stopping off for one final leisurely stroll around Grassington, whilst we plot the next adventure together!
